What is the OLF and what is their job in Quebec?
The OLF was created by the PQ Government to ensure that all businesses were following the instructions of Bill 101, which the instructions of Bill 101 is to protect the French language of Quebec, by making sure that all signs outside of stores have French signs on them, English is an asset.
99% of the stores in Quebec have French signs, so the OLF feels that their jobs might be threatend, so now they are going overboard and are attacking businesses with English words on them.
Even the buisness computers must be in French, or if they want it in English, there must be two versions installed. Maybe they OLF should supply the stores with hard drives, and maybe someone should tell Bill Gates to make it possible to install two versions of Windows 95 on the same partition, or maybe someone should tell the OLF to get their heads checked.
There are some great French programs out there, but sometimes it's almost impossible to get a French version of something. The OLF sends out their employees to certain English speaking areas with a camera to scan the area for any illegal signs (English Signs). Once the brown noser (OLF employee) finds the target, he/she takes the photos and approches the business owner with a fine of up to 1000$ just for having as many as two words like "TAKE OUT" (More info about this ridiculous story in the "TAKE OUT")
But it is not just the Anglophones that are against the OLF, most of the Francophones are getting extremely mad at them too because of their stupidity. Especially when the OLF attacks a child's specialist from The Montreal Children's Hopsital for not being able to write very well in French. This is playing with the children's lives (More info about this ridiculous story in the DOCTOR)

And if you are jewish, well don't even think about finding any food that has hebrew writing on the box or cans after the holiday, because The OLF doesn't want anything to do with Kosher products (for more info on this racist event check out Kosher Products
The jewish people are not the only ones that are being attacked, Let's talk about China Town! That little town in Montreal that has the signs in Chinese and French. Those signs were considered to be illegal because the Chinese letters were way bigger than the French letters. Check out China Town for more info
If you wish to invest in Quebec, remember that your signs must be in French outside the store, and inside you may have English, but it must be unreadable to the common person with less than 20/20 eyesight, while the French must be readable to the person looking in the store across the street.
The OLF claims that they are not causing unemployment in Quebec, but when many stores close their doors because of numerous fines and complaints from the OLF then someone has to be the blame. You can be sure that Louise Beaudoin (The person in the picture on top) will deny the whole thing, and blame it on the people that are putting the OLF down.
What is the purpose of this webpage? And why protest against the OLF? And this music?
The purpose of this webpage is to expose to the world and Quebecers what the OLF is doing, and how to protest against them without violence. Why should the anglophones be treated like they are nothing because the there are only 20% of them in Quebec, that is still 2 million English speaking people living in Quebec. Even though Louise Beaudoin is not the leader of Quebec, the PQ government seems to have lack of control over the OLF when they find the OLF is going overboard too.
When there is lack of doctors in Quebec, you don't go and try to kick out the rest of them because they don't write very well in their language.
If you have a business with anything to do with English, The OLF will get you at all costs if you Speak, Write or think in English.
Software, Internet webpages, English Business Cards, Even municipal signs. The OLF gives out fines to businesses that have English in them, sometimes these fines are so costly that the owner packs up and leaves Quebec because they don't want to fight it. Or they find that changing all the equipment and signs is too costly. Wake up and smell the rotting Quebec air OLF, you are killing Quebec and I charge you of Murder!
The Music is a song by Queen called Another One Bites The Dust, which is very true in the OLF situation because each time the OLF causes a company to close, they wipe their hands and say "Another One Bites The Dust" and they move on to the next.
Is there really any use for the OLF?
No. This is just a big waste of Tax Payer's money, because the OLF costs millions of dollars to keep running. Enstead of the getting rid of the Anti-Gang Squad, they should get rid of the police, I think the Anti-Squad will do more, and be worth more to the people of Quebec.
If a company puts up a sign in Greek (for example) and there is no word of English or French, well maybe the company would not get as many clients as they would if they had it in French or English, (in this case the OLF hates the English and would rather see a sign with French and any other language.) The reason why we say not anymore is because, if the OLF didn't come into power, there would be stores with no French or English on it.) and this would be a loss for the business. So why should the OLF fine them and make them take out everything, these business owners are not babies. In fact all of them are more intelligent than the OLF, but the OLF just wants to warn them that they are in power and you have to do what they say or else you don't get to play with their toys.
Is there a way to stop the OLF?
There are many ways to put an end to a sorry PQ Government group like the OLF. Quebec people should vote for another party, and not the Parti-Quebecois (PQ, these are the ones who closed down many of the English hospitals because they believed that they were spending too much money on them. So now you must wait 5 hours to see a doctor, and some patients have died waiting.) Don't Vote PQ! Many of the Francophone Quebec people want to have a leader that will stand up for their culture and language, but this PQ Government is not providing what they really want. They just want to separate and don't care. To show the people that they have a bit of care, they created the OLF to destroy the English language.
Another way is, if you are a foreign investor, do not invest in Quebec as long the PQ are in power.
And another way is, If you have already invested in Quebec and can't afford to move your company, then get a camera ready. If the OLF should come to your business, take a photo of the agent. Send copies of the photo to the newspapers, and to the internet. The picture of this agent would end up on this webpage!
It really shouldn't be this way, but if the OLF and the PQ Government want to fight dirty, then the people of Quebec should fight them at their own game. They do enough black mailing, and lying to their own people.
Another way is to make webpages of protest, and to write to many newspapers around the world. Eventually the word will get around like it is already doing.
